Grandma and Grandpa Keele update
I am not sure where this is going but just in case everyone gets to read it I will up date what we are doing. Mostly working in the cannery and trying to find time to plant our garden. Between the wind blowing and the cannery and Kent working 10 and 12 hr days it hasn't been easy. We are looking forward to doing some things this summer. When Dad retires we will become pests to you people in SLC. Dad will be able to come up and help with projects you need help with and I will play with the grandkids. We will be leaving on the 20 to go to Rachaels to help them move to Clovis, New Mexico. That should be alot of fun and work.
We went on a cruise in June and had a great time. Really looking forward to going on a cruise with my kids if we can figure out when to go. Maybe by Oct I will know when we can go. With two son in laws having or maybe having new jobs I don't know if May 2009 will be too soon. I am really in a quandry what to do. I really want everyone to be there. (Can't afford to do it again). Help me out. We will probably have to go to Eastern Caribbean because Hawaii is really expensive. St Thomas and St Maarten, and Bahamas are really fun places.
We are looking forward to Lake Powell in August and camping with grandkids this summer. We want to do all the young ladies and then later the boys. We need to use our new camper and get to know those grandkids.
We have had a great life and looking forward to our 40th anniversary. Whew!! Dad made it!
I need to go to Boise this summer so might be planning to go with whoever can go. Sometime in July. I guess I had better go for now. The cannery is calling. I hope you are all trying to get your food storage. I know the people around here are. We cannot keep enough food in the cannery for people.

The Wood Family
We've been doing pretty good. Tony tried the physical test for Highway Patrol and he wasn't able to do the sit-ups, he got 31/35, so he's working out and is going to try again in July.
I had a pretty good birthday, we just went to the park and had a picnic and played kickball, then went out for ice cream later that day. It was nice to have Tony to myself the whole day. He's usually running around helping others on our weekends that I rarely get to spend time with him. Our June is busy, of course everything is scheduled this month. We're taking the YW/YM to the Manti pagent on the 13th, then Girls Camp is the 17-19, and the then youth conference is the 26th-28th. So if anyone would love to have Kendra and Bradley come visit this summer, these dates would be a good time. Andee of course gets to go with me (yea!).
Kendra had her dance recital last night, and she did really well, except at the end. She got scared just before the finally when all the girls go up on the stage because the oldest class were dressed up like Zombie's, so she came out crying to us and refused to go back on stage. She's preforming at Lagoon this Friday, not that big of deal, except we haven't been in 5 years so this is a good reason for us to take our family.
Bradley is happy to have Kendra home for the summer. They play together pretty good, except when she doesn't want him to come in her room and play with her stuff. He likes going outside, and getting into all the things he's been told not to play with. I've tried to get him on a big boy bike, but he knows he can go faster on his trike still, so there's no convincing him to switch.
Andee is getting big, she was 80% height and only 30% weight at her last appt. so she's long and skinny. She's really noisy, laughing, cooing and gooing. And drooling. She still doesn't sleep thru the night, which means I'm always tired. She's almost figured out how to roll over, she gets stuck on her shoulder.
We don't have to many things planned this summer, Mom was talking about going to Boise in July, so me and kids will probably do that, and then Lake Powell is the begining of Aug. then school starts early for us, on the 18th. So our summer seems short already.
So we're just doing the same old stuff untill we find out if Tony gets on with Highway Patrol, If he does, then we will most certainly be moving, no positions available in Price area.

Allison at the park
This is my first attempt at putting video anywhere on the internet, so I hope it works. It's just a little clip of Allison being silly. We are doing fine as a family. Michael is in New Mexico working at his new job and missing us a lot. We are in the process of buying a home out there, so we need to rent our house here in California. That is what I'm doing as well as packing EVERYTHING. It's amazing what you can obtain in just a few years. Definitely having a huge garage sale before moving. Anyway that's what's new with us. Okay, Taylor, I am officially posting on our blog. Although, I am kind of "technotarded", so the only way I can figure out how to post is to reply to your post. (Please help! I've been thinking about creating a blog for Trent & I, but could use some coaching.I think I figured it out, so don't read the comment to Taylor's "Crickets" because it is exactly the same as this.) Anyway, I thought that I would let you know some of what is going on with us.
First of all, can I just say that life has been insanely hectic and so, to Kent and Samantha...Happy Birthday! I am feeling like such a jerk because I went to Costco and ran into Samantha and I think it was possibly the actual day of her birthday and I didn't remember. (I'm really sorry, Sam!) I have been even worse at birthdays than I usually am. So, I would like to take this opportunity to also tell Jaime Happy Birthday! I think you are officially the first person I have said that to on time this year (besides my own kids, of course).
I have started my second semester at SLCC. I did really well with my Biology and Math classes last semester. This time I am taking Human Anatomy and Chemistry. I am totally freaking out! Who knew there were so many different bones and parts of bones in the human skull? (Not me!) I have also been working at the Elementary and am looking forward (for once) to the end of the school year because then I can focus on my own classes and not looking after snot nosed kindergartners. They really are pretty cute kids, but I'm ready for a long break. Also still teaching piano lessons and busy with my Young Women calling.
Gavin is getting ready to "graduate" from the 6th grade. I am NOT old enough to have a kid in jr. high. He is getting pretty excited about it, though. He made it into the Quest program, which is a really cool program for gifted kids. It will be a lot of extra work, which kind of worries me. Hopefully he will enjoy it.
Gavin and Ryker have been playing baseball like it's going out of style. They have had so many games over the last couple of months that we practically live at the ball field. Their snack bar is not good for the waist line! Their regular season play will finish up over the next 2 weeks, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we won't be finished. I'll try to keep you updated.
Saige is so ready for 2nd grade, I've got to find something to keep her busy this summer. She (and I) performed at our dance recital a couple of weeks ago. She did a great job. They danced to the Madonna song "Vogue". It was a lot of fun. They got to play the part of supermodels and got to have really crazy hair (not the usual "sides up, curly"). We will be getting a DVD in June. Taylor, is there a way to post her dance once I get it?
Trent is busy at work as usual. He has been trying to get some bike rides in, but that's easier said than done with work, ball games, dance recitals, scouts, etc.
We got new cell phone numbers. Trent's is (801)541-0423. Mine is (801)541-0416.
I think that just about covers it for us. Does that make you happy, Taylor? I really think this is a great way to keep in touch and we will try to check back often. We would love to hear what is going on with everyone else. And please forgive us for not wishing you all a Happy Birthday (past and future)! I will try to do better.
Last, but not least, Congratulations, Carrie! You are totally awesome!
Crickets
All I hear on this blog is the sound of crickets chirping. I guess nobody wants to talk about their own family.
We are doing fine. Carrie ran her half marathon and is thinking of running another one in August. Carrie is also busy with Landmark and the business her and her sisters started.
Aubrey is finishing up the second grade. It appears she is going to graduate and move onto the third grade.
Braden is learning to go peepee on the potty. He has big boy underwear and has started using pull-ups. He is getting really good at number 1, but has problems with number 2. He is getting used to the idea of going and he has been able to go the whole night without an accident.
As for myself, not much has changed. I have been recently called as the Elders Quorum Secretary. So now I have two callings. Work is still there. There have been some changes made and I am not as happy as I once was. But I still like working for Interbank FX.
We don't have a lot of plans this summer. We will be working on our deck this summer, it needs to be cleaned off and refinished. We probably won't be able to put in a sprinkler system in the back yard this year, it will have to wait until next spring.
Carrie's mother is still living with us. I'm not sure what her plans are exactly.
That is all. It wasn't too hard. I think we all can do something similar every month or so. Give it a try. I you don't than you are jubacoo. Beez!
